als pdf-Datei Die Erklärung wurde von den Erstunterzeichnern zum 60. Geburtstag Israels erarbeitet. Sie entstand aus der Kontroverse um das "Manifest der 25", das die Frankfurter Rundschau am 15. November 2006 veröffentlicht hatte. Darin hatten deutsche Wissenschaftler eine Neugestaltung des deutsch-israelischen Verhältnisses und die Einbeziehung der Palästinenser in dasselbe gefordert und dafür heftigen Widerspruch im In- und Ausland geerntet. Das neue Papier verfolgt einen völlig neuen Ansatz und ist eine gemeinsame Initiative von jüdischen und nicht-jüdischen deutschen Intellektuellen. |
